Access to the mailbox

Both employees and students use the school-wide BUT mail with Office 365 or Google Apps. By default, Office 365 is activated, which we recommend to keep for integration with Teams and other services used. If you wish to change your choice, you can choose another VUTMAIL provider after logging into the BUT information system.

Your e-mail is in the form vutlogin@vutbr.cz.

Office 365 If you choose Microsoft Office 365 as your email service provider, your mail will be delivered to the Outlook service from Microsoft Office 365. You can log in to the mailbox at office365.vutbr.cz

Google Apps If you choose Google APPS as your email service provider, your mail will be delivered to the Google APPS cloud. You can log in to the mailbox at mail.apps.vutbr.cz.

Instructions for connecting mail to a mail client or mobile phone

Office 365 - Mail should be automatically configured in Outlook, Windows mail and mobile after entering the email address and password (choose Outlooi.com, Exchange or Activesync). Alternatively, you can also use POP3 or IMAP - more here
